RateCard Health ("we", "us") is an independent data product run by a solo founder. This policy explains what personal information we collect through ratecardhealth.com and how we use it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
- Email address — when you join our update list or buy a subscription.
- Order information — when you buy, our payment provider shares with us the details needed to deliver and support your order, such as your name, email, country, product purchased, amount, and order and subscription status.
- Messages you send us — if you email support, we keep that correspondence to help you.
We do not collect or store your card or bank details. We do not ask for health information, and the database itself contains no personal data: it lists publications and their published advertising rates, not individuals.
Payments
Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as the Merchant of Record for our sales. Creem handles checkout, payment processing, tax and invoicing, and processes your payment information under its own privacy policy and terms.
How we use your information
- To give you access to the product and deliver downloads and updates.
- To send product updates you signed up for (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To answer support requests, process refunds, and keep basic business and tax records.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to run the site, such as our payment provider (Creem), website hosting and content delivery, and email tools. They process data only as needed to provide their services to us. These providers may process data in countries other than your own.
Cookies
We do not use advertising cookies. Our hosting provider and payment provider may set cookies or collect technical data (such as IP address) that are needed for security and for the site and checkout to work.
Retention
We keep order records for as long as needed for your subscription and for legal, tax and accounting purposes. We keep your email on our update list until you unsubscribe.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
